Experience Karneval’s Gemütlichkeit at Brotzeit Singapore
Karneval is a traditional German festival that dates back hundreds of years to mark the beginning of Lent. It is a time of eating, drinking and merriment, usually accompanied by a huge parade combining elements of a circus, masks and social satire. As part of the festivities, street vendors selling simple German fare such as pretzels and bratwursts, as well Karneval’s specialty beers, can be found on every corner to satisfy any hunger pangs. Come 16 January to 25 February 2018, Brotzeit Singapore is bringing the flavours and Gemütlichkeit (a feeling of warmth, friendliness, and good cheer) of Karneval to Singapore. In lieu of a parade, Brotzeit will be launching a specially-curated Karneval menu, featuring festival favourites and traditional beer from the land of Karneval, Cologne.
